Terrific Tucks
Solveig adapted and simplified Caryl Bryer-Fallert's "High Tech Tucks" (described in the September / October 2006 issue of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting magazine) and called her version Terrific Tucks. She was scheduled to teach this to her Bay Oaks Quilt Guild on April 14, 2007, but had to cancel when she found out a month earlier that her oral cancer had returned, and she returned to New Brunswick for (successful) surgery. Later, she was scheduled to teach this technique to the Camellia Quilters in Slidell in January and February 2009, but again had to cancel because she was undergoing chemotherapy following lung surgery.
These are a few of the demonstrations of her Terrific Tucks method that she prepared for those teaching events.
